Perry Chasing Heptathlon Title at ASUN Championship

RESULTS

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's track and field programs opened competition at the Atlantic Sun Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships today.
 
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
  • Senior Halle Perry, looking to repeat as heptathlon champion, leads the pack through four events with 2,890 points. She finished first in the 100 hurdles and 200, took second in the high jump, and finished third in the shot put.
  • Josiah Ford secured a point for the Royals after taking seventh place in the high jump with a mark of 1.92 meters.
  • Marissa Klamorick qualified for the 400-meter hurdles final on Saturday.
  • Simone Mouras qualified for the 1500-meter run final on Saturday.
  • Noah Boeck qualified for the 1500-meter run on Saturday.
