DURHAM, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's track and field programs turned in multiple great performances on the final day of the Duke Invitational.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Danny Raymond highlighted the men's performances, finishing fifth in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:48.64. His time was a new school record.
- Oliver Cooper also raced in the 800, finishing 10th in 1:50.50.
- Amir Muhammad finished 31st in the long jump with a mark of 6.58 meters, while Michael Robinson's jump of 6.53 meters was 33rd.
- In the triple jump, Mekhi Davis finished 18th with a 13.98-meter jump. Dyson Abrams recorded a personal-best jump of 13.73 meters for 24th place.
- Isaac Battles raced in the 400-meter, recording a time of 49.16 seconds for 49th place.
- Ethan Bryan recorded a time of 22.82 seconds in the 200-meter dash.
- Vesna Kljajevic highlighted the women's performances, finishing fourth in the shot put with a throw of 15.00 meters. The throw broke her previous school record of 14.95 meters.
- Maya Southerland ran in the 400-meter race, placing 43rd in 57.29 seconds.
- Rowan Shannon recorded a time of 2:15.53 in the 800-meter run.
- Halle Perry finished 27th in the long jump with a mark of 5.36 meters, while Jada Brown was 33rd with a 5.18-meter jump.
