CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team was one of the 60 NCAA Division I teams that the NFHCA celebrated with the esteemed 2025 National Academic Team Award this week.
This prestigious acknowledgment is granted to programs that have achieved an exceptional team grade-point average of 3.50 or higher during the fall semester of the current academic year. The Royals posted a 3.65 GPA in the fall to receive recognition.
The University of Maine squad turned in the highest GPA in all of Division I, securing the top spot with an overall 3.89. American University and Monmouth University tied for second place with a 3.77 team GPA in the fall.
The Royals have earned the National Academic Team Award eight times.
