Box Score RICHMOND, Va. – The Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team opened the 2026 season this afternoon at Richmond, falling 12-0 to the Spiders.
INSIDE THE MATCH
After being held to just one goal in the opening half of the game by Queens, Richmond's Clara Larripa put two quick goals on the board early in the third quarter to get the Spiders offense going.
Leading 4-0 heading into the final 15 minutes of action, Richmond added eight more goals to give the game its final score. Richmond's Abril Peroni closed the game, scoring four straight goals in the final 10 minutes for the home team.
