Queens Swimming & Diving Rolls Past Davidson

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Queens men's and women's swimming and diving delivered a statement performance on Saturday at Cannon Pool, rolling past Davidson behind a barrage of top-three finishes. The Royals women won 166–128, while the men prevailed 198–100.

The Royals swept both medley relays to set the tone. The women's A-team of Maren Patterson, Libby Livesay, Maddie Foster, and Sabina Kupcova took gold in the 200-yard medley relay, while the men's A-, B-, and C-squads finished 1–2–3, led by Pablo Ortega Navarro, Milan Samoczi, Emil Harlem, and Nien Levy.

Queens distance swimmers were sharp early, with Sarah Leonie Tenzer (1st) and Madeline House (3rd) on the women's side and Ákos Horváth (2nd) and Jack Vanvalkenburg (3rd) for the men in the 1000 free.

Foster (1st) and Kupcova (2nd) went 1–2 in the women's 200 free, while Daniel Meszaros (2nd) and TJ Spokas (3rd) highlighted the men's race. Patterson (1st) added a win in the 100 back, followed by a Queens sweep in the men's 100 back from Ortega Navarro, Caden Fritz, and Eli Brinkman.

Livesay (1st) captured the women's 100 breast, while Samoczi, Przewalla, and Urbanski swept the men's race. Abigail Zboran delivered two victories—winning the 200 fly and 200 breast—and also swam on the winning 400 free relay. Foster picked up the women's 100 fly, and Harlem and Nikola Karaivanov went 1–2 in the men's event.

The Royals sprint groups dominated as Patterson and Livesay went 1–2 in the women's 50 free, and Levy, Paleocrassas, and Vineyard swept the men's race. Meszaros (1st) and Levy (2nd) powered Queens in the men's 100 free, while Patterson and Gavriela Daniels placed 2nd and 3rd for the women.

In the backstroke, Haley Ross (1st) and Zoey Prezyna (2nd) led a women's 200 sweep, while Fritz, Duren, and Brinkman claimed the men's top three. Vanvalkenburg added a 3rd-place effort in the men's 500 free, following Tenzer's win in the women's race.

On the boards, Juan Gonzalez won both the men's 1-meter and 3-meter competitions, with Jacob Roberts also earning top-three finishes.

Queens closed emphatically with relay wins. The women's 400 free relay of Bianca Wettel, Foster, Kupcova, and Zboran touched first, while the men's quartet of Meszaros, Spokas, Paleocrassas, and Levy clinched victory in 3:03.76.
