CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte's Jacob Roberts has been named the ASUN Diver of the Week, marking a historic first for the Royals' diving program.
Roberts earned the honor following his standout performance at Davidson College on Saturday, Feb. 1. Competing in the men's 1-meter event, he secured a second-place finish with a total score of 183.55 points across six dives.
In the 3-meter event, he secured another second place finish with a total score of 185.65 points over six dives.
"Congratulations to Jacob Roberts on winning his first and Queens University's first ASUN Conference Diver of the Week," Assistant Swimming Coach & Diving Coach Bob Groseth said. "We are proud of the work he put in to make this happen. Queens' new diving program couldn't have happened without the support of Coach Jeff Dugdale. I'm sure Jacob along with our other divers are looking forward to showing their progress at the upcoming ASUN Conference Championships later this month."
This marks the first diving award for Queens, and the seventh total ASUN weekly honor for the Royals in the 2024-25 season.
