KNOXVILLE, TENN. — The Queens University of Charlotte swimming and diving teams held firm in Day 2 of the 2025 ASUN Swimming & Diving Championships. The Royals' men's team still hold the first place spot with 556 points, while the women's team is still positioned in third with 329 points after the second day of competition.

MEN'S TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
Queens maintained its top spot in the team standings, holding a 17-point lead over Florida Atlantic (539).
The 200 free relay team of Matej Dusa, Nien Levy, Conner Wang, and Daniel Meszaros delivered a dominant performance, winning the event in 1:17.55, marking a new ASUN record. The time of 1:17.55 just narrowly beat out the record by M. Dusa, Kunert, Meszaros, and Bauch (1:17.57) from 2023.
Conner Wang captured gold in the 100 fly with an NCAA 'B' cut time of 46.17, a new personal best, edging out Florida Atlantic's Peyton Ming. Matej Dusa finished third (47.34) in the event.
Jacob Browne led Queens in the 1-meter diving final, finishing fifth with 192.60 points. Jacob Roberts followed in sixth, while Aidan Henry placed seventh.
Matt Shanahan led the way in the 400 IM, finishing second with a time of 3:52.64, just behind FAU's Nick Shaffer. Matheus Przewalla followed closely in third (3:54.26).
Daniel Meszaros put together a dominant swim in the 200 free winning the event in 1:34.73 for another NCAA B cut time.
Queens wrapped up the night with a win in the 400 medley relay as Andreas Marz, Noah Beladi, Conner Wang, and Matej Dusa combined for a 3:09.78 finish to secure their final event of the night.
WOMEN'S TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
The Royals remain third in the team standings with 329 points, trailing Liberty (499) and Florida Gulf Coast (409).
The 200 free relay team of Ryley Heck, Maren Patterson, Libby Livesay, and Abigail Zboran captured first place in 1:30.78, narrowly beating Florida Gulf Coast (1:31.01).
Maddie Foster had another strong showing, placing second in the 100 fly (53.25).
Abigail Zboran dominated the 400 IM, winning the event in 4:13.44, an NCAA B cut time.

"Our coaching staff has been extremely proud of our team's efforts thus far," Lau said. "They've done a great job at focusing on winning each session one at a time. Our team comraderie is leading way in the meet and will give us an edge in the second half of the championships."
