CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The NFHCA recognized nearly 1,100 outstanding undergraduate student-athletes from over 80 institutions on the 2024 Division I National Academic Squad. Fifteen of the student-athletes recognized were from the Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team.
 
Sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, the NFHCA National Academic Squad program honors student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.

Karlee Alt and Cassie McKenzie were two of 170 honorees who earned this distinction for the fourth consecutive year.

Three prestigious Division I academic awards are yet to be unveiled  — the NFHCA Scholars of Distinction will be announced on February 14, the NFHCA National Academic Team awards on February 18, and concluding with the announcement of the National Scholar-Athlete on February 20.
