CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Royals are headed back home to face the Furman Paladins in a non-conference doubleheader at the Stick on Wednesday, April 17 starting at 4:00 PM.

GAME NOTES & QUICK FACTS - QUEENS ROYALS
- The Royals are coming off a three-game sweep against ASUN-foe Lipscomb, taking wins by scores of 3-2, 2-1, and 4-1 over the weekend. The series sweep marks their first ASUN conference sweep in program history.
- Autumn Courtney now sits at 15 wins on the year after taking all three wins this weekend. Her strikeout total to date this season alone now sits at 199. Her career total sits at 390.
- To add to Courtney's success this season, she still sits as the Division I leader in total strikeouts this season (199).
- Queens' nine total hits in game three over the weekend against Lipscomb marks the highest amount of hits the team has tallied this season in a conference game.
- Queens' second game against Lipscomb on April 13 saw Lindsey DeRoeck and Natalie Windham hit two doubles each. The four-double total marks the most amount of doubles in a conference game this season.
Scouting the Opponent - FURMAN PALADINS
- The Paladins come to the Queen City after snagging a conference win over Samford by a score of 7-6 on Sunday, April 14.
- Ashlee Lykins, offensive weapon for the Paladins, went three-for-three in the win on Sunday, a season-high for the senior. She leads the team with a .372 batting average, runs scored with 28, and total hits with 54. Her batting average is also second-ranked in the SoCon.
- As a team, the Paladins sit in last in the SoCon in fielding with 69 total errors this season.
- In the circle for the Paladins, pitcher Emme Buzhardt sits in fourth in the SoCon in ERA with a .296. Buzhardt has put up a 2-3 record and has 24 Ks on the year.
