WINSTON SALEM, NC--- The Queens University of Charlotte track and field team finished the JDL College Team Challenge Thursday as there were new personal records made and multiple top 10 finishes.
Notable Thursday Finishes
• In the women's 60m hurdles,
Genysis Howard finished eighth with a time of 10.26.
•
Alanna Johnson then got the top 10 finish in the women's 200m with a time of 28.23.
Genysis Howard then followed her with a time of 28.38.
•
Sarah Bradley finished seventh in the women's one mile with a time of 5:33.37.
Beatty Grace Hite then followed with an eighth-place finish with a time of 5:36.46.
Gianna Mars and
Brynn Fogarty each finished 12th and 17th with times of 5:53.35 and 6:07.58.
• In the triple jump,
Emily Skaar and
Peyton Lust each got top 10 finishes as they finished sixth and seventh with best jumps of 9.38m and 9.34m.
•
Michael Robinson had a strong showing in the men's 400m as he finished 14th with a time of 54.67.
•
Colin Muller snagged a big personal best in the men's one mile as finished with a time of 4:51.73.

"A lot of improvements throughout today starting with the four girls in the mile all improved by over 10 seconds from their first mile of the season. Genysis and Alanna both had 2 personal bests.
Emily Skaar was able to find the board in the Triple Jump and get some confidence.
Michael Robinson ran a strong 400m showing the strength needed to transition to his main event the 400 hurdles come outdoors.
Colin Muller also saw a big personal best in the mile."
What's Next
The Royals be back in Lynchburg, Virginia on Friday, February 9th as they will compete in the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational at the Liberty University Indoor Complex. The event will start at 1:00 PM.
