CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball team is set to start a two-game Kentucky road trip at EKU on Thursday evening.

THE MATCHUP
The Royals hold a 0-1 record against the EKU Colonels. The Royals are coming into the game 0-9 in the conference while the Colonels are 5-4 this season. 

LAST TIME OUT

• The Royals fell 63-38 to Austin Peay to close out a three game homestand.  
• Nicole Gwynn hit 1000 career points after picking up 12 points on the day and becoming the 16th WBB player to do so. 
• Gwynn becomes the 16th Women's Basketball player to join the 1000 points club. 
• Jordyn Weaver also led the team with Gwynn with 12 points and five rebounds. 

STATS TO KNOW

• The Royals aim to break their 17-game losing streak in ASUN play. Their last victory in the ASUN was a 79-75 triumph against the KSU Owls on February 2, 2023.
• Queens is also currently on a nine-game losing streak and has only won one road this season. 
• The two teams have only faced each other once last year where the Royals fell 95-62 at home in Curry Arena.  
• Adia Brisker led the team with 12 points in last year's matchup. 
• EKU is 8-1 at home but currently on a two-game losing streak with their first loss at home coming last week against Stetson.

The Royals continue on the road as they face off against Bellarmine on Saturday. Tip-off is set for 1:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN Plus.
