JACKSONVILLE, FLA. — Maddie Foster claimed this week's Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week honor, announced Wednesday by the league office.
Maddie Foster had a solid outing at the Kellianne Nagy Fall Frenzy this past week. In the 500 free, Foster was dominant, finishing second in prelims with a time of 4:55.64 before improving to a personal-best and CSCAA B standard-time of 4:54.19 in the finals to claim first place. She continued her success in the 200 free, placing second in both prelims and finals with times of 1:49.13 and 1:48.74, respectively, the latter achieving another CSCAA B standard. She excelled in the 100 fly, posting a first-place time of 53.88 seconds in prelims and improving to 53.10 seconds in the finals, another CSCAA A standard. Her 50 fly split of 24.38 seconds also reached the CSCAA A standard. Foster also was crucial in the Royals' relays. She delivered a strong 1:48.34 split in the 800 free relay and a 23.77 in the 200 medley relay.

"Maddie [Foster] had some big breakthroughs this past weekend, and it looks like it was noticed by the conference," Dugdale said. "A big congratulations to Maddie and all of our swimmers."
