SET BY SET RECAP
Queens lost 25-21 in a competitive opener that saw three ties. Jordyn Johnson was a bright spot with five kills and a .308 hitting percentage, while Kendall Buish's nine assists paced Queens in the frame. Despite their 13 kills and three blocks, Queens' three service errors proved costly later in the set and UNF's strong attack of 19 kills pressured Queens' defense. Key blocks from Kayla McDuffie helped keep the Royals close, but UNF was able to snag the victory.

Queens fought hard in the second set, which featured six ties and two lead changes. Queens' defense tightened with three blocks in the frame with Kayla McDuffie and Emma Norris at the helm, but UNF's three service aces and consistent attack efficiency made the difference. Despite 11 kills from Queens, UNF's defense held the Royals at bay to take a 25-18 win.

Queens stayed resilient early in Set 3, fighting through six ties before ultimately falling 25-18. Queens posted nine kills in the final set, with Jesse George (10 digs) and Tilley Collins (11 digs) leading a strong defensive effort.

Queens showed grit with six total blocks, solid setting by Buish (27 assists). Jordyn Johnson led the offense with 12 total kills on the night.
