The Short Story: The Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball team dropped a battle against Central Arkansas 57-76 on Wednesday night. The Royals fell to 0-6 in the conference while the Sugar Bears improved to 5-1.

• Weaver records her fifth double-double of the season with 17 points and 12 rebounds while also leading the team in scoring.
• Nicole Gwynn also netted double digits with 14 points on the day.
• Kemia Ward saw the free throw lines many times throughout the game and made 4 of her 8 shots. 

NOTABLE MOMENTS

• The Royals kept it close early, battling back to cut into double-digit leads at the end of both of the first two quarters. 
• After only hitting one three pointer in the first half, the Sugar Bears sparked their perimeter shooting making 4 three in the third quarter. 
• Midway through the fourth quarter, everyone in the game for UCA had made a point. 

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE

• The Sugar Bears' bench outscored the Royals 32-15
• UCA scored 24 points to Queens 14 in the third quarter which helped the Sugar Bears extend their lead and seal the game. 
• The Royals dished out 2 total assists, while the Sugar Bears totaled 11 on the night. The Royals fall to 2-10 overall on the season when totaling less than 10 assists.
