CLEVELAND, TN – The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's outdoor track and field teams finished the Flames Invitational on Saturday as they made the most of the opportunity to compete despite the bad weather.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tom Heal ran the third-best mark in school history in the Men 3000m steeple with a 9:08.76 time. That made him fourth in the event and the ASUN this year.
- Evie Wild ran a personal best at 2:15.21 in the 800m. This puts her seventh in the event and fifth in school history,
- David Fort also had a personal best in the 800m as he posted a 1:54.60 time to help him get sixth place in the event
- Amadeus Waluga finished fourth in the shot put with a 14.79m throw.
- Christina Palmer finished third in the discus with a 42.01m throw. Palmer also finished second in the shot put with a throw of 12.53m.
