THE SHORT STORY: The Queens University of Charlotte women's tennis team dropped a league match on Saturday afternoon at Florida Gulf Coast University.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Eagles would capture the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 3.
Jill Morse and
Amelie Allard trailed 5-1 at No. 2 before going unfinished.
-FGCU managed to sweep the singles courts.
-At No. 2,
Jill Morse dropped the first set 6-4, but took the second frame 7-6 (7-2). The Eagles would take the final stanza 12-10.
NEXT UP
Queens will wrap up the regular season on Saturday, April 8
th at Stetson University. The match will get underway at 10:00 a.m. Following the match, the Royals will learn about their ASUN Tournament journey which is set to begin Saturday, April 15
th at the higher seed.
