THE SHORT STORY:
Queens University of Charlotte women's tennis team lost two doubles matches and one unfinished to give SCSU a one-point lead heading into singles.
Mathilde Bris at #3 seed,
Rachel Byrne at #5 seed, and
Jett Coetzee at #6 seed all held their own, claiming all second sets, that took their opponents to the stretch for a three-set match. SCSU clinched the match with a 4-1 victory on the road.
HOW IT HAPPENED:

Lucy Hogan and
Zoe Cvitanovic battled at the No. 1 doubles but fell 6-4 in a contested match.

Mathilde Bris and
Jett Coetzee were in a competitive doubles contest, trailing just 5-4 before the Bulldogs secured the first point of the match.
- In singles action, the Bulldogs claimed the victory but the Royals fought hard with three singles matches going to a deciding set.

Mathilde Bris and
Rachel Byrne were both in competitive matches before their contests were halted.
-At No. 6 singles,
Jett Coetzee pushed the match to all three sets before falling 4-6, 6-4, 3-6.
