Royals Fall in First ASUN Appearance

THE SHORT STORY:
Queens University of Charlotte women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to the Bellarmine Knights in their first ever ASUN Tournament appearance. Queens struggled early on as the Knights capitalized on the first doubles point before No 3 doubles match were halted. In singles action, the competition across the top half of the lineup were all halted as the Knights clinched the match in straight set victories on the bottom courts as they take a trip to the quarterfinals in the ASUN Tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bellarmine Knights took full control in doubles play across all courts, which secured the Knights the first point.
- In singles action, Zoe Cvitanovic competed in her last match as a Royal and won 7-5 in the first set before her match was halted.
- Mathilde Bris was a key factor as she won the contest in the first set before her match was halted.
- For the Knights, Nikola Kollaritsch clinched her match for a team victory to move onto the quarterfinals in the ASUN Tournament.
