ATLANTA – After an exciting opening weekend of ASUN Conference women's lacrosse play, Queens University of Charlotte's Shannon Donovan was recognized for her performance with weekly honors announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Donovan tallied five points in helping the Royals capture their first ASUN win in program history. The recognition is her first and the second for Queens this year. Donovan's performance marked the third time she has scored three goals or more this season, and one of her goals was the game-winner in the program's first victory over Lindenwood.
