THE SHORT STORY: After claiming the doubles point, the Queens University of Charlotte women's tennis team picked up four singles victories en route to a 5-2 victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Royals claimed the doubles point behind a pair of victories on the No. 1 and No. 3 courts.
Jill Morse and
Hanna Axelsson cruised at the top court 6-3 while
Katsiaryna Tuliakova and
Kelsey Sinclaire battled to a 7-5 win.
-In singles play,
Katsiaryna Tuliakova improved to 4-2 from the No. 1 slot with a 6-3, 6-3 win.

Jill Morse notched her second straight victory with a dominant 6-1, 6-2 performance at No. 2.
-Sophomore
Hanna Axelsson won a three-set battle after dropping the first set.

Amelie Allard improved to 3-3 from the No. 4 court with a 6-3, 6-2 win.
