ROCK HILL, SC – The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's outdoor track and field teams kicked off day one of the Winthrop Invitational.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Cerys Lee placed 12^th in the 200m with a time of 26.67.
• Dionysius Rolle finished 10^th in the 200m with a time of 22.32.
• Beth Cook finished the 5000m with a time of 17:03.48.
• Christina Palmer finished 15^th in the hammer event with a best throw of 40.64m.
• Natalia Rodriguez placed fifth in the high jump with a jump of 1.45m.
• Emily Deaugustino finished 2^nd in the pole vault with a high of 2.85m. Peggy Prevette also finished third in the event with a high of 2.85m.

UP NEXT
The Royals will be in Raleigh and Rock Hill Saturday for the final days of the Raleigh Relays and Winthrop Invitational.
