Tuliakova Extends Winning Streak to Five Straight against Austin Peay

THE SHORT STORY: The Queens University of Charlotte women's tennis team dropped their first ASUN match of the season against Austin Peay on Friday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The visiting Governors claimed the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 2.
-Katsiaryna Tuliakova got the Royals on the board with a singles victory at No. 1. The freshman took down Leder 6-3, 6-2 extending her winning streak to five straight matches.
-Austin Peay would take the remaining five singles courts en route to a 6-1 victory.
-Heading into the ASUN opener, the Royals had won 13 straight league openers in the South Atlantic Conference and Conference Carolinas dating back to 2008-09.

NEXT UP
Queens will return to the court on Sunday, March 19th when they welcome Kennesaw State University at 10:00 a.m. The match will be played at the Howard Levine Tennis Center at the Queens Sports Complex. Admission is free to the public.
