THE SHORT STORY: After claiming the doubles point for the early advantage, the Queens University of Charlotte women's tennis team dropped a midweek matinee with the North Carolina A&T Aggies by a score of 4-3

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Royals claimed the doubles point with a 7-5 victory by Amelie Allard and Nyanyuie Grace Tomegah. The pair improved to 2-3 on the season with the win.
-The doubles point counted as two points because NC A&T didn't field a third doubles court and there were only five singles courts running.
-Jill Morse notched her third win of the season, and first from the top court with a 6-4, 6-2 win.
-North Carolina A&T managed to storm back with four singles victories.
-After dropping the first sets, Hanna Axelsson and Amelie Allard both won their second sets to force a deciding third frame. Both Royals would battle hard, but fall 6-3.

FROM COACH LEATU
"Today was a battle. North Carolina A&T came out with a lot of confidence and belief. We just need to perform better at bigger moments and not miss opportunities. We will bounce back and keep practicing hard."
