THE SHORT STORY
The Queens University of Charlotte women's tennis team collected its second win of the season this afternoon defeating North Carolina Central on the road.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Royals dropped the doubles point as the Eagles won on No. 1 and No. 3.
Katsiaryna Tuliakova and
Hanna Axelsson picked up their third victory at No. 2 with a 6-4 victory.
-In singles, the Royals took over dropping just two matches.
-Tuliakova picked up the first win of the day while Axelsson followed.
-The dual sat tied at 2-2 until
Jill Morse and
Amelie Allard moved Queens in front with a pair of wins.
NEXT UP
The Royals will head to Georgia Southern to face the Eagles on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m.
