LYNCHBURG, VA.– The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's indoor track and field team had their most competitive indoor meet yet as they competed in the 9
th Annual Darius Dixon Memorial Invite at Liberty University.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Mitch Cox posted a personal record in the Men's 3K with a time of 8:15.54, which is the 7th best all-time.
- Tom Heal had a 10-second improvement in the 3K with a time of 8:35.96
- Sarah Watts posted a 13-second improvement in the 3K with a time of 10:11;64. This time is the 9th best in school history
- Melanie Welsing had a season-best 8.55 in the Hurdle Prelims. She's qualified for tomorrow's final and could break her school record.
- Jakob Nutzel placed 10th in the weight throw mark
