The Short Story: In the first game of the season in Curry Arena, The Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball team defeated the Johnson & Wales Wildcats, 101-51. The win marks the most points scored in a game in the Jen Brown Era

BY THE NUMBERS
- Four Royals scored double-digit figures in the win with Nicole Gwynn leading the team with 21 points. Jordyn Weaver followed with 20 points while Alexandria Johnson (12) and Adia Brisker (11) rounded out the group that finished with over 10 points.  
- Jordyn Weaver picked up her first double-double of the season while also tying her career high of 20 points and ended the game one shy of her career-high in rebounds.

NOTABLE MOMENTS
- The Royals had their biggest quarter in the third quarter where the team finished with 34 points and were 83 percent from behind the arc.
-The team went on a 13-0 run toward the end of the second quarter which was their largest run of the game.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
-The Royals dominated offensively scoring 50 points in the paint. The team had 21 second-chance points, and 15 fast breaks.
-The bench was able to contribute 37 points on the day.
