NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Queens University of Charlotte men's track & field team is ranked 23rd in the first installment of the 2022 NCAA Division II Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Rating Index
released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Tuesday. Only marks from the current season are being used, which gives a comprehensive, objective look at which teams have stood out in the early goings.
The Royals have five top 15 marks in the nation with
Jan Lukas Becker's 10,000-meter run time of 28:27.98 ranking second.
Martin Knauer's shot put mark of 17.74 meters ranks seventh, while
Adam Wright (1500m),
Remi Liberse (steeple), and
Mathurin Boutte (10,000m) rank 11th in their events.
Queens will be back in action next weekend with athletes competing in the Angelo State David Noble Relays, Mar. 31-Apr. 1.
