RESULTS
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's track & field teams, currently ranked 15
th nationally, traveled to Winston-Salem to compete in the JDL DMR Invite this evening.
The women's DMR team displayed an impressive performance on the track clocking a time of 11:37.94 to set a new school record and take first place in the event.
Stevie Lawrence,
Carlin McFadden,
Stina Pettersson, and
Fatima Alanis currently rank first in the nation in the event with the flat track conversion to 11:30.43.
The men's DMR team also took first place after finishing with a time of 9:56.75.
Adam Wright,
Niklas Klei,
Remi Liberse, and
Mitchel Cox will wait to see if their time was good enough to snag the last spot at the NCAA Championships. Their time of 9:47.93 last week currently sits tied at 13
th with Mississippi College's DMR squad.
The Royals also had two runners compete in the women's 5,000-meter run.
Kira Ribbink took second in 19:12.35 and
Nadya Stolarczyk took third in 19:27.83.
