THE SHORT STORY
In a battle against one of the nation's best, Queens put up a notable effort against No. 22 Gonzaga. Queens came out the gate firing and managed to end the first quarter with a 17-16 lead, thanks in large part to the strong play of senior
Adia Brisker. Brisker opened the game 5-7 shooting, managing 11 points in the first quarter which propelled her to an impressive 25 on the evening. The Royals would ultimately fall short, 73-49.

Adia Brisker enjoyed a career day against the Zags. She opened the game hot with 11 points in the first quarter and carried that into the second half posting 25 points in the game. She also added four rebounds and three steals.
- Efficiency was the name of the game for Allie Johnson who managed 14 points on 5-10 shooting. She also shot 100% from the charity stripe, making all four of her attempts.

Hawa Balde-Camara continues to display a strong presence in the paint for the Royals. She grabbed a team-high five rebounds and swatted away team-high two blocks.
NEXT UP
Queens concluded their west coast trip with the matchup against Gonzaga and will travel back to Charlotte. They're back in action on Thursday, December 15 with a home contest against Radford.
