COMPLETE BRACKET

INDIANAPOLIS
 – For the sixth consecutive season and the 14th time in program history, the Queens University of Charlotte men's basketball team earned a berth into the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championship, the Division II Men's Basketball Committee announced on Sunday night. The Royals were selected as the No. 5 seed in the Southeast Region and will meet fourth-seeded Emmanuel College (Ga.) in the first round.

Queens enters the national tournament with a 16-5 overall record. The Royals earned an at-large selection after dropping the South Atlantic Conference Tournament Championship Game to third-seeded Carson-Newman University, 88-79, on Sunday, a loss that ended a season-best seven-game winning streak. Queens is currently ranked No. 16 nationally in the D2SIDA Media Poll and 17th in the NABC Coaches Poll.

The Royals have advanced out of the tournament's first round in each of their previous four trips, having reached the regional title game the last three years and the Elite Eight the last two years, excluding the cancellation of last season's tournament.

The 2021 DII men's basketball championship, hosted at Tex Turner Arena in Harrogate, Tennessee, will begin with the regional quarterfinals on Saturday, March 13. It will continue with the semifinals on Sunday, March 14, and the regional championships on Tuesday, March 16.
