CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte head men's basketball coach
Grant Leonard is excited to announce the signing of Corbin Pack to the 2026 recruiting class on Thursday afternoon. Pack comes to the Royals following four seasons at Wingate University, where he made 80 appearances, including 45 starts after redshirting his freshman season.
"I'm extremely excited for the opportunity to be a part of Queens Basketball," said Pack. "From the coaches to the culture around the program, everything stood out to me right away. I'm ready to work with my teammates and compete at a high level. Let's get another championship!"
Over his career at Wingate, Pack averaged 10.1 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. The Myrtle Beach, South Carolina native is coming off an impressive senior campaign, where he started 27 games and averaged a career-high 11.4 points on 45 percent shooting from the perimeter. Pack reached double figures in 18 games, including a season-high 25 points on 7-of-11 shooting from deep. The perimeter threat has attempted over 100 threes in his last two seasons and buried 69 in 2025-26.
As a junior, Pack made 21 appearances, including 18 starts, and averaged 10.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game. The 6-3 guard finished tied for second on the team in scoring and shot a team-best 40 percent from deep. The year prior, Pack netted 7.4 points per game across 30 appearances, including a career-high 29 points on 7-of-9 shooting from deep against Coker.
"Corbin is a huge piece to our puzzle next season," said head coach
Grant Leonard. "He is a phenomenal shooter with a ton of experience and a player who we envision can carry the torch as the next elite perimeter shooter in the Queens lineage. His experience in the South Atlantic Conference, our old home, and work under former Queens coach Brian Goode, will be invaluable to us."
Pack had a storied high school career at Carolina Forest, specifically as a junior. In 2021, the sharpshooter was named the Region VI 5A Region Player of the Year, along with SCBCA 5A All-State. The success led Pack to join Flight 22 Elite for a post-graduate season. In his only season, Pack helped Flight 22 capture the 2022 National Collegiate Prep Championship. Additionally, Pack was named a Big Shots Post-Grad SLAM First Team selection and Big Shots Rise Winter Jam Post-Grad All-Tournament Team recipient.
Pack will join a Royals program that is coming off its first ASUN Tournament Championship and first appearance in the 2026 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. The historic season saw the Royals post a 21-14 record, marking the second straight season with at least 20 wins. Queens clinched the third seed in the ASUN Tournament before defeating top-seeded Central Arkansas in overtime in the title game.
