Men's Swimming Sits Fourth at NCAA Championships

GENEVA, OHIO – Through five events at the 2020 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships, the Queens University of Charlotte men are in fourth place overall with 63 total points. McKendree University leads the team standings with 92 points, followed by Delta State University (70) and Nova Southeastern (68.5).
 
Sophomore Luke Erwee began the night with an all-american swim in the 1,000-Yard Freestyle, claiming fourth place. In the 200-Yard I.M., sophomore Alex Kunert earned a runner-up finish, while fellow sophomore Jan Delkeskamp earned points with a sixth-place finish.
 
Queens ended the evening with an all-american swim from senior Dmytro Sydorchenko in the 50-Yard Freestyle before the 200-Yard Medley Relay team was disqualified due to an early start on the fourth leg of the race.
 
Day Two of competition begins tomorrow morning with prelims at 10 a.m. followed by finals at 6 p.m.
