JEFFERSON CITY, TENN. – The 15^th-ranked Queens University of Charlotte women's tennis team picked up its fourth win in a row on Saturday afternoon with a 6-1 victory over Carson-Newman University at Mossy Creek.
 
Queens swept doubles play to collect the first point of the match, beginning with a 6-4 win from the No. 1 tandem of Sasha Davidzenka and Yana Fleyer. The duo of Isabel Fornies and Caity Klaassen won 6-1 at No. 2 and the team of Viktorija Veselinova and Hannah Lehfeldt won 6-3 at No. 3 to finish off the sweep.
 
Fleyer, the No. 43 single players in NCAA Division II, was a 6-4, 6-3 winner at No. 1 to open singles play. Veselinova continued Queens momentum with a 6-3, 7-5, 7-6 (10-7) at No. 5 before Fornies registered a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 3 to seal the match decision.
 
Davidzenka won her No. 2 matchup by a 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 score as the Royals' final singles win of the day came from Lehfeldt's 6-2, 6-3 decision at No. 6.
 
The Royals face rival No. 19 Wingate University in the team's next match on Wednesday, March 20 at 2:00 p.m. from Wingate, N.C.
