CHARLOTTE, N.C. – On day two of competition at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the Irwin Belk Complex,
Hannah Wolkenhauer placed seventh in the 3,000-meter steeplechase to earn First-Team All-American honors. Wolkenhauer finished the race in 10:24.83, a new personal best, topping her previous mark by nearly 11 seconds.
Wolkenhauer joins
Anton Epp (long jump) as the second Royal to achieve First-Team All-American status at the national championships.
In the prelims of the 800-meter run,
Elijah Inuwa finished in 20
th, running in a time of 1:55.90.
The three-day meet concludes tomorrow.
