ANDERSON, S.C. -- The Queens University of Charlotte women's tennis team defeated Anderson University in another South Atlantic Conference matchup, winning 6-3 at the AU Tennis Complex to move their current win streak to three in a row.

The Royals took a 2-1 advantage after doubles play with the No. 2 duo of Carlotta Nassi and Isabel Fornies winning their matchup 8-4 and the No. 3 team of Caroline Nielsen and Hannah Lehfeldt winning 8-2.

In singles play, freshman Yana Fleyer improved to 8-0 overall on the year in the No. 2 spot, winning her matchup 6-2, 6-3. Fellow freshman Sasha Davidzenka also won her matchup 6-3, 6-1 in the No. 3 spot, while Nielsen was a winner at No. 4 with a 6-0, 6-1 victory. Queens' final point came from Fornies' win in the No. 6 spot, winning in just two sets 6-1. 6-3.

Queens will host Coker College next in another South Atlantic Conference matchup on Tuesday, March 20 at the Queens Sports Complex. Play will begin at 2 p.m.
