Box Score AIKEN, S.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte Women's basketball team dropped to 2-2 on the season as they fell to USC-Aiken 64-59 on Saturday, November 21, 2015.

The Royals were led by
Carmen Richardson who scored 22 points and tallied seven rebounds in the game.
McKell Oliverio scored 11 points as she went 4-of-8 from the field including 3-of-5 from three-point range for the Royals. She also snagged five rebounds and added four steals. Karlesha Thompson would be the third Royals player who scored in double-digits as she added 10 points. Thompson would also add six rebounds and six assists on the night.

Queens shot 42.6 percent from the field in the game which included four three point baskets. USC-Aiken would outrebound the Royals 34-30 but the Royals would force the Pacers into 23 turnovers, which resulted in 22 points for Queens.

The Royals came out to a quick 8-3 lead with five minutes remaining in the first quarter when Oliverio drained a three-point shot. USC-Aiken would counter that with a 12-to-2 run to end the first quarter with a 15-10 lead. Rachelle Aupont would make two three-pointers for the Pacers during the run. Queens would hold the USC-Aiken lead to single digits as
Maggie Stewart made a jumper with 7:09 remaining in the second quarter to make the score 21-14 in favor of the Pacers. USC-Aiken would only allow the Royals to score eight points in the second quarter and would run out to a 29-18 lead at the half.

To start the second half, Queens would score five straight points after a layup by Thompson and an old fashioned three-point play by Richardson to cut the lead to 29-23. The Pacers would fight back in the third quarter to extend their lead as Emry Tsitouris' made layup brought the score to 49-35 with 1:05 remaining in the quarter. Queens would battle back to decrease the Pacers lead as they brought the score to 62-53 after a furious run that was capped by a Richardson jumper. The Royals would get to the free-throw line six times and make all six of them in the final two minutes of the game with
Nikki Gleason making the final two to make the final score 64-59 in favor of USC-Aiken. The Royals outscored the Pacers 24-15 in the fourth quarter as their rally fell just short.

Rachelle Aupont led the Pacers in scoring as she scored 17 points on 5-of-6 shooting in the game. She also added five rebounds and four assists for USC-Aiken. Emry Tsitouris would be the only other Pacer with double digit scoring as she added 11 points for the Pacers.

th at 6:00 p.m. as they travel to face the Wolves of Newberry College.
