Box Score 2 CHARLESTON, W.V. – The Royals wrapped up their spring break road trip with a stop in West Virginia's state capitol where they faced off against off against the Golden Eagles of the University of Charleston. The Royals were unable to find footing against the home team and ultimately lost the games by the score of 4-3 and 1-0.
In the first game the Royals were engaged in a scoreless affair for the first two innings before the home team tacked on two runs. The Royals were able to get on the board in the fifth off a
Taylor Rosenbalm sacrifice fly that drove in
Jasmyn Lindsay. But, the Golden Eagles struck back with their own run in the bottom of the inning.
It was the same story in the sixth when

Emily Poulton, but once again the home team was able to negate the run with one of their own. Queens was eventually able to gain a run on the Golden Eagles off a Rosenbalm homer in the seventh, but ultimately came up one run short.
In game two the Golden Eagles were able to tally one run in the first, but from there on out it was a pitcher's duel. With both
