KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the NABC Division II All-District teams for 2010, recognizing the nation's best men's collegiate basketball student-athletes. Queens University of Charlotte is pleased to have
Daniel Bailey (Irmo, S.C., Hammond ) named to the Division II Southeast All-District Second Team. Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, these student-athletes represent the finest basketball players across America. The 88 student-athletes, from eight districts, are now eligible for the State Farm® Coaches' Division II All-America team, selected by the NABC. Bailey was one of four athletes from Conference Carolinas named to the teams.
Daniel Bailey finished fourth in overall conference scoring with 18.2 points per game this season. He was also third in overall conference rebounding with 8.2 rebounds per game, and second in overall conference blocks with 1.4 per game. His field-goal percentage of 53% had him ranked second as well. Bailey recorded eight double-doubles and scored 32-plus points four times (three times in conference games). The January InterCon Male Student-Athlete of the Month was also named to the Conference Carolinas All-Conference First Team.
