Andrew Lankarge joined the Queens University of Charlotte Sports Performance staff in July 2024 as an Assistant Sports Performance Coach. Lankarge is responsible for the Royals field hockey, women's tennis, and men's and women's lacrosse programs. Prior to Queens, Andrew spent three years as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina, serving as the primary strength coach for the Bearcats baseball, softball, men's and women's rugby, and men's and women's soccer teams.
Before his time at Lander, Andrew spent the 2021 spring semester as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Muhlenberg College working with nine athletic programs. Lankarge also served as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Ithaca College where he primarily worked with men's and women's swimming and diving, baseball, and softball.Â
Lankarge has completed Sports Performance internships at both Elon University and UMass Amherst working with Olympic sports and football programs.
Lankarge graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from UMass and a Master of Science in Exercise and Sport Sciences from Ithaca College. Lankarge is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA.
