CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team hosted Davidson College (6-4) this evening at Bessant Field, falling 2-0 to the Wildcats to move to 2-6 this season.
INSIDE THE MATCH
After holding the Wildcats scoreless, Queens found themselves trailing 1-0 when Davidson's Lourdes Wolf shot a ball high and into the back of the cage in the 21
st minute. She then scored another goal in the 27
th minute when Queens was down a player due to a green card.
In the second half, the Royals were able to hold the Wildcats' offense scoreless despite facing eight shots in the fourth quarter.

- Madison Destefano totaled 10 saves for Queens, while Payson Thorsen-Fowler recorded two defensive saves.
- Olivia Gain placed one shot on goal for the Royals.
- The Royals totaled five shots to Davidson's 19.
