2026 Queens Athletics Awards: Senior Student-Athletes of the Year

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte Department of Athletics is proud to announce their annual summer awards series, celebrating the outstanding accomplishments of its student-athletes during the 2025-26 season.

Award winners will be revealed on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the summer across the department's official social media platforms. Today, we recognize the winners of the Senior Student-Athletes of the Year.

Men's Winner – Michel Feldmann, Men's Soccer
Michel Feldmann concluded an outstanding four-year career as one of the premier leaders in the Queens men's soccer program. A two-year team captain, Feldmann played a pivotal role in guiding the Royals through their transition to Division I while setting the standard both on and off the field. He became the first player in the program's Division I era to earn United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region honors and added Second Team All-ASUN recognition and ASUN Player of the Week honors during his career. Academically, Feldmann graduated with a 3.87 cumulative GPA, posted a perfect 4.0 GPA during his senior year, and earned the prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. Beyond competition, he served as a SAAC representative, participated in the Royal Leadership Academy, mentored fellow students through the Transition to University program, and was actively involved in community service, leaving a lasting impact on the Queens community.

Women's Winner – Kayleen Favreau, Women's Lacrosse
Kayleen Favreau capped off one of the most decorated careers in Queens women's lacrosse history, leaving the program as its all-time leading scorer. A four-year starter who started all but one game during her career, Favreau earned back-to-back ASUN Player of the Year honors in 2024 and 2025, was named to the ASUN All-Freshman Team in 2023, and collected Second Team All-ASUN recognition in 2026. A two-year team captain, she led by example while consistently facing opponents' top defenders and adapting to a different offensive unit each season. Her ability to elevate both her own play and those around her helped establish a standard of excellence for the Royals throughout her four years.
