VertKlasse Meeting
HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's track and field team began competing at the High Point VertKlasse Meeting today.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Petar Canak secured a first-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 7.11 meters.
- Josia Ford finished 6th in the long jump with a mark of 6.69 meters.
- In the men's high jump, Sawyer Davis took fifth place with a personal best jump of 1.92 meters. David Wall took seventh after recording a personal best jump of 1.87 meters.
- Charlise Carlson recorded a jump of 1.52 meters for fifth place in the women's high jump event.
- In the 1500-meter run, Jacob Sarto recorded a time of 3:53.64 for fourth place.
- Beatty Grace Hite recorded a personal best time of 5:01.88 in the women's 1500-meter run.
- In the men's 5000-meter run, Preston Gantt finished seventh in 14:59, which was a personal best performance.
