THE MATCHUP
Saturday afternoon marks the sixth all-time meeting between Queens and Lipscomb, with the Bisons commanding a 4-1 series advantage. In their last matchup last season, the Bisons edged the Royals in overtime of the ASUN Tournament Semifinals, 81-75 in a back-and-forth battle that saw 11 ties and 13 lead changes. The Bisons cashed in 27-of-29 free throw attempts while the Royals went 9-of-12 on half the opportunities.

Jordan Watford turned in a career-high 26 points to lead the Royals offense. However, two-time NAIA All-American Collin Parker was a force, netting a game-high 39 points to help the Governors seal the eight-point road victory and a top-four seed in the ASUN Tournament.

Jordan Watford, a native of Lancaster, South Carolina, averages 11.4 points along with 3.7 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game. In Queens previous matchup against a strong defense, Watford had the best game of his young Royals' career, scoring 26 points, dishing out four assists, and making two three-pointers.

Chris Ashby is tied for 73
rd all-time in NCAA history for three-pointers made. The Houston, Texas native moved into second all-time in ASUN history for threes made last game and sits behind Darius McGee (528; Liberty).

Through 13 games in ASUN play, the Royals present the sixth-best scoring defense as opponents are averaging 78.3 points per game while countering with the highest scoring offense in the league with 85.8 points per game.

A new face behind the Royals bench, Buddy, has become a staple in the Royals locker room. A new tradition started this season, head coachÂ
Grant Leonard awards Buddy, a hollow replica of a dog, to the "Street Dog of the Game," or the person who makes an energetic impact in the game. Buddy sits by that player's locker until the next game and has even made appearances in the postgame press conferences.

TWO DESTINATIONS
This season, Lipscomb has been one of the league's toughest opponents to play on their home court as the Bisons are 12-1 inside Allen Arena. However, on the road, the Bisons are 4-9 as they enter Saturday evening.

Lipscomb ranks fourth in the ASUN, and 82
nd in the country in scoring with 81.1 points per game. A key part of the scoring has been perimeter shooting as the Bisons are knocking down 10.9 threes per game which ranks 13
th in the nation.

TREVECCA TRANSFER
Trevecca transfer Mateo Esmeraldo is one of the nation's best distributors, dishing out 7.1 assists per game which leads the ASUN and ranks eighth in the country. The three-time ASUN Newcomer of the Week is also adding 10.4 points per game.

Graduate student Grant Asman leads the Bisons with 14.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. The 6'11" forward has reached double figures in 12-of-13 ASUN outings.
