Men's Basketball's Exhibition Versus Catawba Rescheduled for 2027-28

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte Men's Basketball's upcoming exhibition against Catawba has been canceled and rescheduled for next season.

Queens will still host Johnson C. Smith on Monday (Oct. 26) at 7:00 p.m. for their last exhibition before the beginning of the 2026-27 season. The Royals are set to open the campaign on November 2nd versus Winthrop as part of the Field of 68 Opening Day Marathon in a 9:00 a.m. tip at the Rock Hill Sports and Event Center.

The Royals are coming off a 21-14 season where they finished 13-5 in Atlantic Sun Conference play. Queens captured their first ASUN Tournament title and made their first appearance in the NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball Tournament. In just four Division 1 seasons, the Royals have put together back-to-back 20-win seasons and have become the fourth school in NCAA history to advance to the NCAA D1 Men's Basketball Tournament in their first-year as a full NCAA DI member institution. During the Royals' three-year reclassification process, they were not eligible to compete for NCAA Championships.
