THE MATCHUP
Wednesday evening marks the sixth all-time meeting between Queens and Austin Peay, with the Royals holding a slim 3-2 series advantage. In their last matchup last season, the Governors took down the Royals 92-78 in Charlotte in a game that saw six ties and 14 lead changes. Austin Peay got hot in the second half, outscoring Queens 58-48 on 59 percent shooting and 64 percent shooting from deep.

Queens is coming off a perfect week in ASUN play after taking down Jacksonville and North Florida. Last outing, the Royals used a dominant second-half defensive performance, limiting the Ospreys to 22 points, which tied for the fewest points given up in a single half by Queens this season. The Royals went into the halftime break with a +1 margin on the glass and finished +12 for the game after a relentless second-half effort on the boards.

Grant Leonard awards Buddy, a hollow replica of a dog, to the "Street Dog of the Game," or the person who makes an energetic impact in the game. Buddy sits by that player's locker until the next game and has even made appearances in the postgame press conferences.

BEST IN THE LEAGUE
Austin Peay enters Wednesday night 17-6 overall and 11-1 in ASUN play. The Governors are riding a six-game winning streak with their last loss coming at Lipscomb on January 17th.
GOVERNORS BUILD ROAD CONFIDENCE
The Governors are a perfect 11-0 inside F&M Bank Arena, but 6-6 away from it. However, Austin Peay has won their last two road battles coming into the new week.
OFFENSE AND DEFENSE
Austin Peay has been one of the league's best offenses and defenses, ranking fourth in scoring and first in defense. The Governors are pouring in 81.1 points per game while limiting opponents to 70.5.
GOVERNORS LEAD ASUN WITH PRESSURE DEFENSE
The Governors lead the ASUN, swiping 10.3 steals per game. Freshman phenom Zyree Collins is snatching 2.2 per game to lead the league.
PARKER SETS THE PACE FOR AUSTIN PEAY
Columbia College transfer and two-time NAIA All-American Collin Parker leads Austin Peay with 16.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. Parker has been named the ASUN Newcomer of the Week three times and ASUN Player of the Week this past week.
THIRD SEASON LEADING AS HEAD COACH
Corey Gipson is in his third season at the helm of his alma mater. In two seasons, Gipson has led the Governors to the ASUN Tournament, including a Championship appearance in his inaugural season.
