CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte announces the release of the 2026 Women's Lacrosse Schedule. The 16-game schedule features eight home games for the Royals.

"We are blessed with awesome local competition that we play year after year, ECU, Elon, Clemson, Winthrop, and are pumped to add Davidson to our schedule this spring. Our conference schedule expanded with two new teams as well, Austin Peay and Delaware. It's exciting to be a part of such a competitive conference and one that requires you to play your best each game."
The Royals will officially kick off the 2026 season on February 7 at East Carolina before hosting Elon on the 11
th for their first home game of the year. Queens will then welcome Clemson to Dickson Field for the first time on February 18. The Tigers completed the 2025 season ranked 13
th nationally.
A short trip down the road to Winthrop will follow Queens' clash with the Tigers on February 21 before the Royals return home to host Furman and Davidson on February 25 and March 1. The game between the Royals and the Wildcats will be the first in program history. Finally, Queens will wrap nonconference play on March 10 when they travel to face the Hokies of Virginia Tech.
Atlantic Sun Conference play will begin with a pair of road games at Kennesaw State and Jacksonville on the 19th and 21st of March, respectively. Queens is then scheduled to host their first ASUN game of the 2026 season on March 26 against first-year program Austin Peay. That same weekend, the Royals will welcome Lindenwood to the Queen City for a rival showdown on March 28.
After taking a full week off, the Royals will begin the month of April on the road at Stetson, traveling to take on the Hatters on April 4. They will then face Coastal Carolina on the road on April 9 before returning to Charlotte to close out the regular season with a pair of home games on April 16 and 18 against Delaware and Liberty. The Blue Hens are entering their first season as a member of the ASUN after competing in the Coastal Athletic Conference, where they finished third last spring.
The Royals will look to finish top six in the league to reach the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship, which will take place in Jacksonville, Fla., from April 28-May 2. Queens has been edged out of postseason play since reaching the ASUN Semifinal round in 2023. They finished the 2025 season with a 6-11 overall record after posting a 3-3 league record.
