CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte Head Field Hockey Coach
Brandi Kist announced the addition of
Addisan Sholly to her program. The sophomore midfielder joined the Royals as a mid-year transfer this spring, coming from Saint Francis University.
Sholly competed in 19 games at Saint Francis, totaling four goals and one assist. She scored her first goal for the Red Flash against Miami (Ohio) and scored the game-winning goal in the team's win over Rider.
The Red Flash completed their final Division I season with a 14-5 overall record. They were 8-1 in league play and seeded second in the conference tournament. However, their season was ended by third-seeded Wagner in the semifinal round. The University announced last spring that it would be transitioning all 22 varsity sports to NCAA Division III, effective for the 2026-27 academic year.
A Palmyra, Pa., native, Sholly graduated from Palmyra Area High School. The three-year starter was named team captain in 2023. That same season, she was named to the All-Mid-Penn Keystone First Team and All-State First Team. In 2022, she earned All-State Second Team honors. She was also named to the PHSFHCA All-Academic Team during her time as a Cougar.
"We are excited to welcome Addie to the Royals family this spring," Kist commented. "A skilled midfielder, she adds experience and depth to the team. Coming off a record season at St. Francis and from a winning high school program, her intensity and drive will add to our continued growth."
