CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Seven Queens student-athletes were listed as Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athletes and the Royals earned All-Academic Team distinction.
Jake Grimes,
Filippo Scala,
Win Steveker,
Gavin Ryan,
Lukas Gosselin,
Laurenz Blickwede, and
Luke Coppage were all recognized by the ITA.
This year, 994 Division I male student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and 159 men's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
To qualify for ITA All-Academic Team status, programs must maintain a team grade-point average of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale for the academic year. For Scholar-Athlete recognition, individuals must be varsity letter winners, have a GPA of at least 3.5 for the current academic year, and be enrolled at their present institution for at least two semesters.
