CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's tennis teams saw five student-athletes land on the College Sports Communications Academic All-District Team, as officially released by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.
In total, 30 student-athletes from six Atlantic Sun member institutions were represented. Austin Peay led the way with seven student-athletes earning honors while Bellarmine and Eastern Kentucky followed with six each. North Alabama and Lipscomb also represented the ASUN with recipients.
For Queens,
Laurenz Blickwede,
Win Steveker,
Luke Coppage,
Andreea Onitoiu, and
Audrey Serb earned the honors. The 2024-2025 Academic All-District teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Eligible student athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and must be in the lineup for 70 percent of an institution's days of competition (regional competition such as ITAs and non-team scored events do not count).
Blickwede and Steveker, both two time Academic All-District recipients, were selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. Those teams will be announced June 3, 2025 (women) and June 4, 2025 (men). Fans can check out the full list of All-District recipients
