EARLYSVILLE, VA. — The Queens University of Charlotte cross country programs reached a new milestone this weekend, lining up at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships for the first time as full Division I members. The Royals delivered steady individual performances across both the women's 6k and men's 10k races.
In the women's race, Simone Mouras led the way with a 22:50.0 finish, placing 181st in a deep regional field.
Lina Mills-Zacapa followed in 23:15.7 (204th), and Beatty Grace Hite crossed in 24:37.9 (243rd), giving Queens three strong women's showings in their regional debuts.
On the men's side, Dennis Devine closed his season with a 35:21.2 performance in the 10k, placing 223rd.
